Incoming freshmen can fulfill one-half credit of the required full credit in Technology in the summer, thus freeing up students to take another elective during the school year.
This class is designed for students who have had no formal training in keyboarding and computers. It will emphasize the mastery of the keyboard and computer skills for personal and business use. In addition, students will be introduced to the operation and concepts of personal computers, keypad, an introduction to word processing, spreadsheets, and database technology.

Prerequisite: Word Processing Technology
This course is designed to teach students computer skills that will provide information to aid in living in our always-growing technology age. Students will work extensively with word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation applications, using Microsoft Office software. Students will have the opportunity to work on various projects that focus on all the options the software has to offer.
