Fall parent information
Each year in August, for the past several years we have offered to all parents of future Bishop Miege athletes a Parent Information Night. This year on Tuesday, Aug. 11, we will have a similar meeting in our auditorium at 7 p.m.

Welcome Picnic: Sunday, Aug. 9
Students new to Miege and their families are invited to attend an orientation picnic sponsored by the Bishop Miege Mothers’ Club and the Miege Activities Booster Club on Sunday, Aug. 9, at Bishop Miege.

15th annual Danny Morris 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
For the 15th year, the family and friends of a 1992 Bishop Miege High School graduate will transform the school’s parking lot into a rousing basketball tournament to honor the memory of one of their own.

2009 Boys and Girls State
Eleven Bishop Miege students were chosen to attend Kansas Boys and Girls State in the summer of 2009.

"Thine Eyes" documentary at Bishop Miege
A special showing of "Thine Eyes," a documentary of the 2009 March for Life in Washington, D.C., will take place at Bishop Miege at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28, in the Auditorium.

Important information about ordering Dockers
We have been informed by the Dockers pants company that the uniform pant we have required in the past at Bishop Miege High School is currently being phased out.

Senior Portrait information
DeCloud Studios is the official photographer for the 2009-2010 school year. In order for your senior photo to appear in the Miege yearbook, you must be photographed by DeCloud Studios.

Girls' basketball wins 16th State title
Congratulations to the Bishop Miege basketball program for their outstanding seasons! In March, the girls' team brought home the 16th State title in the program's history, and the boys' team took second at State.

Congratulations, class of 2009!
The Bishop Miege class of 2009 celebrated graduation on May 10, 2009 - congratulation to these new graduates on all their accomplishments!

Senior named National Merit Finalist
Miege senior Josh Wancura of Shawnee, Kan., has been named a National Merit Finalist in the 2009 program.
