First Hour Band
This ensemble is for students who already play an instrument. Students who have room in their schedule should register to be in this band.  No audition is required.  First Hour Band will combine with the Zero Hour Band for concerts and other school events.  These musicians meet every school day.  Students receive a full credit.

Zero Hour Band
This ensemble is for students who already play an instrument, but do not have room in their schedule for First Hour Band.  No audition is required.  Zero Hour Band will combine with the First Hour Band at concerts and other school events.  These musicians meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:15-8:00 a.m.  Students receive a half credit.

Pep Band
The Pep Band performs at basketball games and pep assemblies. Students who are registered for Zero or First Hour Band are required to be in Pep Band unless there are direct conflicts with athletic participation.  Music performed in the Pep Band helps encourage school spirit.

Jazz Band
Jazz music is currently infused in the Zero and First Hour Band curriculum.  It gives students the opportunity to study different styles of band music such as swing, rock, and pop.  It also allows students time to explore creativity through improvisation.

All students are welcome to join, regardless of previous percussion or band experience.  Students will learn drumline fundamentals and get to perform at school events.  Drumline meets Tuesday and Friday mornings from 7:15-8:00.  Students receive a half credit.
